Abstract: Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the application of the Lovemarks Theory in the context of the tourist destination Natal-RN, Brazil. The study, of descriptive quantitative nature, proposed to test a theoretical model based on the dimensions of the Lovemarks Theory, which are: mystery, sensuality, intimacy and love for the brand. The data were collected through an online survey that obtained 285 valid answers. The analyses were done with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics version 22 and SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that all the research hypotheses were supported, validating the application of the Lovemarks Theory in a tourist destination. In terms of the construct 'brand love', it was found to have a more significant relationship with the dimension 'intimacy' (structural coefficient = 0.558). Furthermore, the three latent variables (mystery, sensuality and intimacy) were found to explain 79% of brand love in the tourist destination context. From the theoretical point of view, the study contributes by providing subsidies for the proposed model to be replicated in other destinations, favoring the consolidation of the Lovemarks Theory in this context. In managerial terms, the research suggests actions to develop a destination brand management based on the offer of elements that strengthen emotional connections with the traveler.

Resumen: El objetivo de esta investigación es investigar la aplicación de la Teoría de las Lovemarks en el contexto del destino turístico Natal-RN, Brasil. El estudio, de naturaleza cuantitativa descriptiva, propuso probar un modelo teórico 9basado en las dimensiones de la Teoría Lovemarks, que son: misterio, sensualidad, intimidad y amor por la marca. Los datos se recogieron a través de una encuesta en línea que obtuvo 285 respuestas válidas. Los análisis se realizaron con la ayuda de IBM SPSS Statistics versión 22 y el software SmartPLS 3. Los resultados mostraron que todas las hipótesis de la investigación fueron apoyadas, validando la aplicación de la Teoría Lovemarks en un destino turístico. En cuanto al constructo "amor de marca", se constató que muestra una relación más significativa con la dimensión "intimidad" (coeficiente estructural = 0,558). Además, se constató que las tres variables latentes (misterio, sensualidad e intimidad) explican el 79% del amor a la marca en el contexto del destino turístico. Desde el punto de vista teórico, el estudio contribuye al proporcionar subsidios para que el modelo propuesto sea replicado en otros destinos, favoreciendo la consolidación de la Teoría de las Lovemarks en este contexto. En términos gerenciales, la investigación sugiere acciones para desarrollar una gestión de marca de destino basada en la oferta de elementos que fortalezcan las conexiones emocionales con el viajero.

RESUMO Objetivou-se avaliar propriedades físicas de grãos de genótipos de feijão-caupi. O estudo foi conduzido no Laboratório de Armazenamento e Beneficiamento de Grãos e Sementes no Instituto Federal do Norte de Minas Gerais, em Januária, MG. Os tratamentos utilizados foram 17 linhagens-elite e 11 cultivares de grãos de feijão-caupi. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições. As características avaliadas foram a densidade aparente, ângulo de repouso, massa de 1.000 grãos, forma (esfericidade e circularidade), tamanho (área projetada) dos grãos, teor de água e porosidade da massa de grãos. Os genótipos conferem diferentes tamanhos aos grãos de feijão-caupi, o que influencia na variação da densidade aparente, ângulo de repouso e massa de mil grãos. Não houve diferença estatística entre as médias para as variáveis teor de água e porosidade da massa, entre os genótipos avaliados.

ABSTRACT The present study aimed to evaluate the physical properties of cowpea genotypes grains. The study was conducted at the Laboratory for Storage and Processing of Grains and Seeds at the North Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFNMG) in Januária, MG, Brazil. The treatments were composed of 17 elite lines and 11 cultivars of cowpea. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with four replicates. The properties evaluated were bulk density, angle of repose, 1000-grain weight, shape (sphericity and circularity), size (projected area) of the grains, water content, and porosity of the grain mass. The genotypes give different sizes to cowpea beans, which influences the variation of bulk density, angle of repose, and 1000-grain weight. There was no statistical difference among the cowpea genotypes evaluated for water content and mass porosity.

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: The effect of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) in patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer can be determined by assessing the Becker tumor regression grade in the primary tumor, as well as in lymph nodes. AIMS: The aim of this study was to investigate the anatomopathological changes caused by neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and their impact on clinical parameters. Specifically, we analyzed the Becker tumor regression grade, lymph node status, and regression changes and evaluated their association with the Clavien-Dindo classification of surgical complications and overall patient survival. METHODS: This is a retrospective and observational study including 139 patients diagnosed with adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus and treated with either neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy followed by surgery or surgery alone. For the 94 patients who underwent neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, we evaluated tumor regression by Becker tumor regression grade in primary tumors. We also analyzed lymph node status and regression changes on lymph nodes with or without metastases. Overall survival analysis was performed using Kaplan-Meier curves. RESULTS: Becker tumor regression grade is associated with lower lymphatic permeation (p<0.01) and vascular invasion (p<0.001), but not with lymph node regression rate (p=0.10). Clavien-Dindo classification was associated neither with lymph node regression rate (odds ratio=0.784, p=0.795) nor with tumor regression grade (p=0.68). Patients who presented with lymphatic permeation and vascular invasion had statistically significantly lower median survival (17 vs. 30 months, p=0.006 for lymphatic permeation, and 14 vs. 29 months, p=0.024 for vascular invasion). CONCLUSION: In our series, we were unable to demonstrate an association between Becker tumor regression grade and lymph node regression rate with any postoperative complications. Patients with lower lymphatic permeation and vascular invasion have higher overall survival, correlating with a better response in the Becker tumor regression grade system.

RESUMO RACIONAL: O efeito da quimioradioterapia neoadjuvante em pacientes com câncer de esôfago localmente avançado pode ser determinado pela avaliação do grau de regressão tumoral de Becker no tumor primário, bem como nos linfonodos. OBJETIVOS: Investigar as alterações anatomopatológicas causadas pela quimioradioterapia neoadjuvante e seu impacto nos parâmetros clínicos. Especificamente, analisamos o grau de regressão tumoral de Becker, o status linfonodal e as alterações de regressão e avaliamos sua associação com a Classificação Clavien-Dindo de complicações cirúrgicas e a sobrevida geral dos pacientes. MÉTODOS: Estudo retrospectivo e observacional incluindo 139 pacientes diagnosticados com carcinoma espinocelular de esôfago ou adenocarcinoma da junção esofagogástrica, tratados com quimioradioterapia neoadjuvante seguido de cirurgia ou cirurgia isolada. Para os 94 pacientes submetidos a quimioradioterapia neoadjuvante, avaliamos a grau de regressão tumoral de Becker em tumores primários. Também analisamos o status linfonodal e as alterações de regressão em linfonodos com ou sem metástases. A análise de sobrevida global foi realizada usando curvas de Kaplan-Meier. RESULTADOS: O grau de regressão tumoral de Becker está associado a menor permeação linfática (p<0,01) e invasão vascular (p<0,001), mas não à taxa de regressão linfonodal (p=0,10). A classificação de Clavien-Dindo não foi associada à taxa de regressão linfonodal (OR=0,784; p=0,795) nem ao grau de grau de regressão tumoral (p=0,68). Os pacientes que apresentavam permeação linfática e invasão vascular tiveram sobrevida mediana menor estatisticamente significativa (17 vs 30 meses; p=0,006 para a permeação linfátiva e 14 vs 29 meses; p=0,024, para a invasão vascular, respectivamente). ABSTRACT: The objective of the present study was to detect the genetic diversity of Anaplasma marginale strains in naturally infected calves from a rural property located in the northeastern region of the state of Pará, Eastern Amazon, which has a history of mortality due to anaplasmosis. Fourteen calves positive for A. marginale were selected using a semi-nested polymerase chain reaction for the target msp1α gene, with asymptomatic (n=3) and symptomatic (n=11) infections. After sequencing the samples, two genotypes were verified in the E and C regions and the structures in tandem repeats were determined. Nine different strains were found: eight related to the E genotype (α-β-β-Γ = one animal, asymptomatic; 16-F-17-F-F = two animals, symptomatic; α-β-F-F-F-F = one animal, asymptomatic; 31-62-62-61 = one animal, symptomatic; τ-10-3 = three animals, two symptomatic and one asymptomatic; α-β-β-β = one animal, symptomatic; τ-22 -13-18 = two animals, both symptomatic; β-β-β-BRA1-31 = two animals, both symptomatic), and one related to genotype C (23-24-25-31-27-27 = one animal, asymptomatic). Genotype E was predominant in 92.86% of the samples (13/14), followed by genotype C (7.14%). This study made it possible to detect the genetic diversity of A. marginale in calves from the selected dairy farm, in addition to identifying the BRA1 sequence in the animals of the present study, which was recently diagnosed in Minas Gerais, demonstrating the dispersion of A. marginale strains in herds from different Brazilian states. Genetic diversity of A. marginale was observed in both symptomatic and asymptomatic calves. There were no significant differences when clinical signs were compared to the genotype verified in the infected animals. The prevalence of pathogenicity was not observed.

RESUMO: O objetivo do presente trabalho foi detectar a diversidade genética de cepas de Anaplasma marginale em bezerros naturalmente infectados oriundos de uma propriedade rural localizada na região nordeste do estado do Pará, Amazônia Oriental, a qual apresentava histórico de mortalidade devido à anaplasmose. Foram selecionados 14 bezerros positivos para A. marginale pela técnica de semi-nested PCR (nPCR) para o alvo no gene msp1α, com infecção assintomática (n=3) e sintomáticos (n=11). Após o sequenciamento das amostras foram verificados dois genótipos nas regiões E e C, e determinadas as estruturas em tandem repeats. Nove diferentes estirpes foram encontradas, sendo oito relacionadas ao genótipo E (α-β-β-Γ = um animal, assintomático; 16-F-17-F-F = dois animais, sintomáticos; α-β-F-F-F-F = um animal, assintomático; 31-62-62-61 = um animal, sintomático; τ-10-3 = três animais, dois sintomáticos e um assintomático; α-β-β-β = um animal, sintomático; τ-22-13-18 = dois animais, sintomáticos; β-β-β-BRA1-31 = dois animais, sintomáticos) e uma relacionada ao genótipo C (23-24-25-31-27-27 = um animal, assintomático). O genótipo E foi predominante em 92,86% das amostras (13/14), seguido pelo genótipo C (7,14%). O estudo possibilitou a detecção da diversidade genética de A. marginale em bezerros dessa propriedade leiteira, além de identificar a sequência BRA1 nos animais do presente estudo, a qual foi diagnosticada recentemente em Minas Gerais, o que demonstra a dispersão das estirpes de A. marginale nos rebanhos de diferentes estados brasileiros. A diversidade genética de A. marginale foi observada tanto em bezerros sintomáticos quanto em assintomáticos e não houve diferença significativa quando se comparou os sinais clínicos ao genótipo verificado no animal infectado, não observando a prevalência de patogenicidade de estirpes.

ABSTRACT: The study aimed to describe the clinicopathological aspects of 37 cases of pythiosis, 34 in horses and three in mules, from properties located in the Amazon biome of Pará, Brazil. The clinical signs observed in the animals were weakness, poor-to-regular nutritional status, pale mucous membranes, itching at the lesion site, and lameness when the limbs were affected. The lesions were located on the lips, nostrils, rib region, thoracic and abdominal walls, scapular, distal limbs, foreskin, perineum and udder. Macroscopically, ulcerative and granulation-tissue-like masses were observed, with fistulous tracts filled with yellowish and foul-smelling serosanguinous discharges. In the biopsy, it was possible to visualize white and firm areas with foci of yellowish necrotic material and hardened masses, called kunkers. The histopathological examination showed a pyogranulomatous inflammatory reaction with the presence of Pythium insidiosum hyphae, which were impregnated with black, confirming the diagnosis of pythiosis in equids in the Amazon biome, being the first report of the disease in mules in the region.

RESUMO: O trabalho objetivou descrever os aspectos clínico-patológicos de 37 casos suspeitos de pitiose, 34 em equinos e três em muares, provenientes de propriedades localizadas no Pará, bioma amazônico brasileiro. Os sinais clínicos observados nos animais eram caracterizados por debilidade, estado nutricional de ruim a regular, mucosas pálidas, prurido no local da lesão, além de claudicação quando os membros foram acometidos. As lesões eram localizadas nos lábios, narinas, região das costelas, parede torácica e abdominal, escapular, distais dos membros, prepúcio, períneo e úbere. Macroscopicamente observavam-se extensas lesões ulceradas com intensa proliferação de tecido de granulação, de bordos irregulares, com tratos fistulosos, de consistência firme, denominados de “kunkers”, preenchidos com material amarelado e friável, possuindo exsudação serossanguinolenta de odor fétido. Ao exame histopatológico observou-se reação inflamatória piogranulomatosa com presença de hifas de Pythium insidiosum, as quais se impregnaram de negro, confirmando o diagnóstico de pitiose em equídeos no Bioma Amazônico, sendo o primeiro relato da doença em muares na região.

ABSTRACT: This study collected samples from 50 Holstein cows, most intensively bred, and from the Campos Gerais region, Paraná, with an average milk production of 30.21L/day. Samples of the liver, spleen and lymph nodes were collected to determine the levels of copper, cobalt, iron, molybdenum and zinc. Spleen and lymph nodes were subjected to histological analysis and evaluation of the degree of hemosiderosis. The average concentrations of copper (495.05ppm), molybdenum (4.19ppm), and zinc (274.49ppm) were higher than those established for the bovines. For cobalt 26% of the animals presented levels below the established level, which characterized cobalt deficiency. Only iron (299.12ppm) exhibited an adequate average level. Histopathologically hemosiderosis was observed mainly in the spleen (78%) and less frequently in the lymph nodes (20%). The observation of hemosiderin in the spleen and lymph nodes is not related to copper deficiency. Still it may be related to high levels of molybdenum, zinc, iron, or other undetermined causes.

RESUMO: Para este estudo foram coletadas amostras de 50 vacas, da raça Holandesa, a maior parte criada intensivamente e oriunda da região dos Campos Gerais/PR, com média individual de produção de leite de 30,21L/dia. Foram coletadas amostras de fígado, baço e linfonodos para determinação dos níveis de cobre (Cu), cobalto (Co), ferro (Fe), molibdênio (Mo) e zinco (Zn). Baço e linfonodo foram submetidos à análise histológica e avaliação do grau de hemossiderose. A média das concentrações de Cu (495,05ppm), Mo (4,19ppm) e Zn (274,49ppm) encontrava-se acima dos níveis estabelecidos para bovinos. Para o Co, observou-se que 26% dos animais apresentaram níveis abaixo do estabelecido, o que caracterizou deficiência de Co. Apenas o Fe (299,12ppm) apresentou níveis médios adequados. Na histopatologia, hemossiderose foi observada, principalmente no baço (78%) e com menos frequência nos linfonodos (20%). A observação de hemossiderina no baço e linfonodos não está relacionada à deficiência de Cu, porém pode estar relacionada a elevados níveis de Mo, Zn e Fe ou a outras causas não determinadas.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to evaluate phosphorus (P) concentration in serum and bone, the percentage of ash and the specific bone density of buffaloes on Ilha de Marajó before and after mineral supplementation. For this study, 14 crossbred buffaloes of Murrah and Mediterranean descent aged between 18 and 36 months were used. The average values of P before supplementation in serum and bone, the percentage of bone ash and the specific bone density were 5.68mg/dL±1.18, 16.53%±0.53, 59.95%±1.96 and 1.52g/cm3±0.32, respectively, which demonstrated P deficiency in animals raised on Ilha de Marajó. After supplementation with P for a period of seven months, the values were 6.61mg/dL±0.87, 16.90%±0.56 and 60.30%±0.95 and 1.71g/cm3±0.21, respectively. These results showed a significant increase in P concentration in blood serum, specific bone density and percentage of P in ash (P<0.05), but there was no significant increase in the percentage of ash. The average increase in P in the serum and ash did not reach normal levels in all animals; however, 28.6% of the animals had normal values of P in serum and 50% in the ash, and 64.3% had normal specific bone density values. The nonre-establishment, in some of the animals, of the variables of P serum and bone after supplementation for seven months may have occurred as a result of the low intake of the mineral mixture and by the low concentration of P in the Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu used for feeding animals during the experiment.

RESUMO: Objetivou-se avaliar as concentrações de fósforo (P) no soro e no osso, o percentual de cinzas e a densidade óssea específica em búfalas da Ilha de Marajó antes e após suplementação mineral seletiva. Foram utilizadas 14 búfalas mestiças de Murrah com Mediterrânea, com idades entre 18 e 36 meses. Os valores médios de P, antes da suplementação, no soro, no osso, o percentual de cinzas e a densidade óssea específica foram de 5,68mg/dL±1,18, 16,53%±0,53, 59,95%±1,96 e 1,52g/cm3±0,32, respectivamente, o que demonstra deficiência de P nos animais criados na Ilha de Marajó. Após a suplementação com P por um período de sete meses os valores foram 6,61mg/dl±0,87, 16,90%±0,56 e 60,30%±0,95 e 1,71g/cm3±0,21 respectivamente. Esses resultados caracterizam um aumento significativo nas concentrações de P no soro sanguíneo, na densidade óssea específica e no percentual de P nas cinzas (P<0,05), porém não houve um aumento significativo no percentual de cinzas. O aumento médio nos valores de P no soro e nas cinzas não alcançou patamares de normalidade em todas as búfalas, entretanto 28,6% delas tinham valores normais de P no soro e 50% nas cinzas, 64,3% tinham valores normais da densidade óssea específica. O não restabelecimento, em parte dos animais, das variáveis ósseas e sanguíneas após suplementação com P durante sete meses pode ter ocorrido em virtude da baixa ingestão da mistura mineral e da baixa concentração de P em Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu utilizada para alimentação dos animais durante o experimento.

Abstract Oil production in offshore regions involves the transportation of oil and gas in submarine pipelines, which are vulnerable to geological processes triggered by subsurface oil production like fault reactivation. The fault reactivation process can lead to phenomena that impact the seabed, like subsidence and fluid exudation, and can trigger instability of submarine slopes, which can result in environmental and economic damage. The present work addresses a coupled hydromechanical numerical modeling of a hypothetical case involving fault reactivation caused by oil reservoir production and its impact on an overlying submarine slope. The hypothetical case was simulated using a finite element model. The case involves a reservoir which is cut by a fault zone that reaches the seabed. The slope instability studied was induced by the injection and production of fluids in the reservoir. The fault zone is assumed to be a sealing region and a geomechanical and pressure field discontinuity within the reservoir. Int this work was used the Mohr-Coulomb elastoplastic model with Perzyna viscoplastic regularization to represent the behavior of the fault zone and the overlying submarine slope. Results showed that the fault reactivation, caused by the reservoir production, developed shear stress and shear plastic strain along the fault and through the submarine slope, causing horizontal and vertical displacements in the slope mass and acting as a trigger factor for slope stability. The results showed that all research hypotheses were supported, validating the application of the Lovemarks Theory in a tourist destination. Regarding the ‘brand respect’ construct, the study's findings indicated a greater relationship between it and the 'trust' dimension (structural coefficient = 0.481). The latent variables 'trust', 'reputation' and 'performance' explain 60.10% of brand respect in the context of a tourist destination. From a theoretical point of view, the study contributes by providing subsidies for the proposed model to be replicated in other destinations. In managerial terms, the research suggests actions to develop a destination brand management based on offering elements that guarantee a positive experience for the traveler in that place.

Resumen El objetivo de esta investigación es comprender la percepción de los turistas sobre el respeto a la marca del destino turístico Natal-RN a partir de las dimensiones de la Teoría Lovemarks. El estudio, de carácter cuantitativo descriptivo, propuso probar un modelo teórico basado en las dimensiones de la Teoría Lovemarks, a saber: confianza, reputación, desempeño y respeto por la marca. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de una encuesta en línea creada en la plataforma Google Forms, que obtuvo 285 respuestas válidas. Los análisis se realizaron con el software IBM SPSS Statistics versión 22 y SmartPLS 3. Los resultados mostraron que todas las hipótesis de investigación fueron respaldadas, validando la aplicación de la Teoría Lovemarks en un destino turístico. En cuanto al constructo 'respeto por la marca', los hallazgos del estudio indicaron una mayor relación entre éste y la dimensión 'confianza' (coeficiente estructural = 0,481). Las variables latentes 'confianza', 'reputación' y 'rendimiento' explican el 60,10% del respeto a la marca en el contexto de un destino turístico. Desde un punto de vista teórico, el estudio contribuye otorgando subsidios para que el modelo propuesto sea replicado en otros destinos. En términos gerenciales, la investigación sugiere acciones para desarrollar una gestión de marca de destino basada en ofrecer elementos que garanticen una experiencia positiva para el viajero en el lugar.

Resumo O objetivo da presente pesquisa é entender a percepção dos turistas sobre o respeito à marca do destino turístico Natal-RN a partir das dimensões da Teoria Lovemarks. O estudo, de caráter quantitativo descritivo, se propôs a testar um modelo teórico com base nas dimensões da Teoria Lovemarks, sendo elas: confiança, reputação, performance e respeito à marca. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um survey online criado na plataforma Google Forms, que obteve 285 respostas válidas. As análises foram feitas com auxílio dos softwares IBM SPSS Statistics versão 22 e SmartPLS 3. Os resultados mostraram que todas as hipóteses da pesquisa foram suportadas, validando a aplicação da Teoria Lovemarks em destino turístico. Sobre o construto 'respeito à marca', os achados do estudo indicaram maior relação dele com a dimensão 'confiança' (coeficiente estrutural = 0,481). As variáveis latentes ‘confiança’, ‘reputação’ e ‘performance’ explicam 60,10% do respeito à marca em âmbito de destino turístico. Do ponto de vista teórico, o estudo contribui fornecendo subsídios para que o modelo proposto seja replicado em outros destinos. Em termos gerenciais, a pesquisa sugere ações para desenvolver uma gestão de marca de destino pautada na oferta de elementos que garantam uma experiência positiva do viajante no local.

RESUMO Congea tomentosa é uma trepadeira indicada para cobertura de mandris, grades e cercas. A determinação da área foliar é útil para entender a relação planta-ambiente e facilitar estudos agronômicos sobre transpiração, necessidade de água, interceptação de luz e atividade fotossintética. O objetivo deste estudo foi obter uma equação alométrica para estimar a área foliar de C. tomentosa através da medição das dimensões foliares. As análises foram realizadas em 200 folhas de diferentes formas e tamanhos de 10 plantas adultas escolhidas aleatoriamente cultivadas em condições de campo. O comprimento da folha, a largura da folha, o produto do comprimento pela largura e a área foliar foram determinados. Modelos de regressão linear, linear sem intercepto, quadrático, cúbico, potência e exponencial foram utilizados para estimar a área foliar. O coeficiente de determinação, índice de concordância de Willmott, critério de informação de Akaike, raiz do quadrado médio do erro e índice BIAS foram usados para determinar o melhor modelo. A área foliar de C. tomentosa pode ser satisfatoriamente estimada por meio de um método não destrutivo que utiliza medidas de dimensões foliares. A equação ŷ = 0,63 × LW (Folha: L = comprimento, W = largura) estima a área foliar de C. tomentosa de forma prática e rápida, com 99,15% de precisão. A estimativa da área foliar de C. tomentosa utilizando modelos estatísticos é menos dispendiosa e de fácil acesso aos pesquisadores e produtores desta planta.

ABSTRACT Congea tomentosa is a climbing plant suitable for covering arbors, railings, and fences. Leaf area determination is useful in understanding the plant-environment relationship and facilitating agronomic studies on transpiration, water requirement, light interception, and photosynthetic activity. The objective of this study was to obtain an allometric equation to estimate the leaf area of C. tomentosa by measuring the leaf dimensions. Analyses were performed on 200 leaves of different shapes and sizes from 10 randomly chosen adult plants grown under field conditions. The leaf length, leaf width, product length and width, and leaf area were determined. Linear, linear without intercept, quadratic, cubic, power, and exponential regression models were used to estimate the leaf area. The coefficient of determination, Willmott’s concordance index, Akaike information criterion, root mean square error and BIAS index were used to determine the best model. The leaf area of C. tomentosa can be satisfactorily estimated using a non-destructive method that uses measurements of leaf dimensions. The equation ŷ = 0.63 × LW (Leaf: L = length, W = width) estimates the leaf area of C. tomentosa in a practical and fast way, with 99.15% of precision. Estimation of the leaf area of C. tomentosa using statistical models is less expensive and easily accessible to researchers and producers of this plant.

RESUMO O amendoinzeiro é uma das leguminosas mais produzidas no mundo, no entanto, há carência de conhecimentos da sua necessidade nutricional e das fases de maior demanda, sendo necessários estudos sobre a marcha de absorção de nutrientes pela cultura. O objetivo deste experimento foi determinar a taxa de absorção na parte vegetativa e vagens, o acúmulo de macronutrientes na parte vegetativa, vagens e total, e a exportação de nutrientes em vagens, durante o ciclo do amendoim, cv Runner IAC 503, cultivado sob irrigação total. A cultivar IAC 503, do tipo Runner, foi conduzida sob manejo de irrigação plena, na Fazenda Experimental da Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias pertencente a Universidade Estadual Paulista, campus de Jaboticabal, SP, Brasil, de março a agosto de 2019. O experimento foi conduzido em delineamento de blocos casualizados, com tratamentos constituídos por nove avaliações de taxa de absorção de macronutrientes e acúmulo de macronutrientes 35, 49, 63, 77, 91, 105, 119, 133 e 147 dias após a semeadura, com quatro repetições. As maiores demandas nutricionais do amendoim ocorreram de 63 a 105 dias após a semeadura. Maiores acúmulos totais de nutrientes foram alcançados aos 118 DAS, com 234,8; 173,5; 79,0; 45,8; 23,4 e 18,8 kg ha-1 para N, K, Ca, Mg, P e S, respectivamente. As exportações de macronutrientes contidos nas vagens foram de 138,8; 43,9; 14,6; 12,0; 7,3 e 5,4 kg ha-1 para N, K, P, Mg, S e Ca, respectivamente. O K exportado na colheita foi duas vezes maior que a quantidade aplicada na semeadura, seguindo a recomendação brasileira atual, o que pode causar esgotamento do nutriente no solo.

ABSTRACT Peanuts are one of the most produced legumes in the world; however, there is a lack of knowledge on their nutritional needs and the growth phases with greater demands; therefore research is required on the nutrient absorption rate of the crop. The objectives of this study were to determine the rates of absorption in the vegetative part and the pods, the accumulation of macronutrients in the vegetative part, pods, and in total, and the nutrient export to pods during the cycle of the peanut, cv Runner IAC 503, grown under full irrigation. The experiment was conducted at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences, Universidade Estadual Paulista, Jaboticabal campus, SP, Brazil, from March to August 2019 using a randomized block design, with evaluations of the macronutrient absorption rate and accumulation at 35, 49, 63, 77, 91, 105, 119, 133 and 147 days after sowing, with four replications. Higher nutritional demands of peanuts occurred between 63 and 105 days after sowing. Greater total accumulation of nutrients was reached at 118 DAS, with 234.8, 173.5, 79.0, 45.8, 23.4 and 18.8 kg ha-1 for N, K, Ca, Mg, P, and S, respectively. Exports of macronutrients contained in the pods totaled 138.8, 43.9, 14.6, 12.0, 7.3 and 5.4 kg ha-1 for N, K, P, Mg, S and Ca, respectively. Exported K in the harvest was two times greater than the applied amount at sowing, which followed the current Brazilian recommendation, causing possible depletion of this nutrient in the soil.

RESUMO A utilização do sistema consorciado permite às culturas explorar melhor os insumos utilizados e a capacidade produtiva da área, podendo ser vantajoso ao produtor. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o desempenho produtivo da berinjela e do tomate indústria consorciados em função da data de transplante da berinjela em relação ao tomate, em duas épocas. Foram avaliadas 10 datas de transplante de berinjela (-30, -25, -20, -15, -10, -5, 0, + 5, +10 e +15 dias em relação ao transplante de tomate), sendo a primeira época de fevereiro a setembro de 2009, e a segunda de agosto de 2009 a fevereiro de 2010. O número de frutos comerciais por planta, a produtividade comercial por planta e a produtividade comercial de berinjela e tomate foram influenciadas pela data de transplante da berinjela. As maiores produtividades de berinjela foram obtidas na segunda safra, devido às condições climáticas mais favoráveis para o desenvolvimento dessa cultura. Os transplantes tardios de berinjela acarretaram em perdas na produtividade devido a interferência do tomate. Para o tomate, quanto mais tardio o transplante da berinjeleira, maior foi a produtividade. Portanto, conclui -se que as espécies apresentam alto grau de interferência umas nas outras e que a variação na época do transplante da berinjela influenciou nos caracteres produtivos de ambas culturas. Em termos produtivos, o consórcio dessas espécies pode não ser economicamente viável ao produtor devido as influências negativas no crescimento, desenvolvimento e produção dessas culturas.

ABSTRACT The use of intercropping system allows crops to better utilize inputs supplied and the productive capacity of the area, which can be advantageous to the farmer. Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the production performance of eggplant and industrial tomato intercropped as a function of the date of eggplant transplantation compared with tomato transplantation, in two seasons. Ten dates of eggplant transplantation were evaluated (-30, -25, -20, -15, -10, -5, 0, + 5, +10 and +15 days compared with tomato transplantation), with the first season from February to September 2009 and the second from August 2009 to February 2010. The number of commercial fruits per plant, commercial yield per plant and commercial yield of eggplant and tomato were influenced by the date of transplanting of eggplant. Highest eggplant yields were obtained in the second season, due to the more favorable weather conditions for the development of this crop. Late eggplant transplants resulted in yield losses due to tomato interference. For tomatoes, the later the eggplant was transplanted, the higher the yield. Therefore, it is concluded that the species have a high degree of interference with each other and the variation in the time of eggplant transplantation influenced the production characters of both crops. In terms of production, the intercropping of these species may not be economically viable for the farmer due to negative influences on the growth, development and production of these crops.

Abstract The objective of this article is to present dubbing as a tool for the production of multimedia content for science teaching, as well as to validate an educational video about physics dubbed in this project. The research was carried out between January 2019 and January 2021, with the following steps: search for educational videos about physics on YouTube channels in English, classification of videos by an expert, contact with channel owners to request permission to use the videos, dubbing of videos, validation of dubbed videos by teachers and high school students. For validation, a five-point Likert scale was used, been considerate validated only items with a Content Validity Index (CVI) greater than 0.78. The dubbed educational video was approved with a global CVI of 0.910 by teachers and 0.858 by students, covering both technical and educational aspects. Thus, the methodology developed throughout the project has proven to be effective for the selection and dubbing of educational videos.

Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a dublagem com fins educacionais como uma ferramenta de produdo de conteúdo multimídia para o ensino de ciencias, assim como, validar o vídeo educativo com a temática de física dublado no projeto. A pesquisa foi realizada entre janeiro de 2019 e janeiro de 2021, com as seguintes etapas: busca de vídeos educativos sobre física em canais de divulgado científica do YouTube em ingles, classificado dos vídeos por um especialista, contato com os proprietários dos canais para solicitado de permissao de uso dos vídeos, dublagem dos vídeos, validado dos vídeos dublados por professores e por estudantes do nível médio. Para a validado foi utilizada escala Likert com cinco pontos, sendo considerados validados os itens com Índice de Validado de Conteúdo (IVC) superior a 0,78. O vídeo educativo dublado foi aprovado com IVC global médio de 0,910 por professores e 0,858 por estudantes, considerando-se tanto aspectos técnicos quanto educacionais. Deste modo, a metodologia desenvolvida ao longo do projeto mostrou-se efetiva para a seledo e dublagem de vídeos educacionais.

ABSTRACT Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum) is a cut flower grown due to the wide diversity of colors and longevity in the post-harvest. The leaf area measurement is fundamental in plants because the leaves are directly related to several processes such as transpiration, radiation interception and CO2 fixation that enable the plant to grow. The objective of the work was to determine an allometric equation for estimating the leaf area of lisianthus from linear dimensions. 200 leaves were collected and the leaf length (L), leaf width (W), product between length and width (LW) and real leaf area (LA) were measured. The criteria for determining the best model were the highest determination coefficient (R2), Willmott's concordance index (d), lowest Akaike information criterion (AIC), root mean square error (RMSE) and BIAS index closest to zero. The most suitable model for estimating the leaf area of lisianthus is the linear ŷ = 1.387*LW.
